For those living in the southern hemisphere, the sun rises in the West and travels for the North where it reaches its zenith. All teachings for the North for the Southern Hemisphere would be the same as those for the South and vice versa. Likewise all references to South and North should be interchanged when refering to these Medicine Wheel teachings as viewed from anywhere in the Southern Hemisphere. Also the Zodiac would travel in a counterclockwise/anticlockwise direction.

It is not, however, a simple flip of the wheel because the months/moons need to be in the proper order as well. The cycle is 6 months out of cycle with that of the northern view, but would follow the same pattern.

While this wheel is not "modern" in any sense, it is unique in its perspective and will remain in this category until I discuss other wheels with similar or unique characteristics with which to group it.
